I suppose the Maesters at the Citadel have their methods.

Probably lunar or solar cycles. They are likely more reliable then the seasons, which it was mentioned tend to fluctuate in length.

Lol dont try to come up with something rational, its just fantasy nonsense. Like a lot of other stuff in that series.
That explanation does not make sense either btw.

There are so many disposing of dead bodies in pies tales in the books that it seemed to be a very natural conclusion.

Holy ****, Jojen Reed is like dead on how I pictured him. Same for Orell, definitely not for Lady Tyrell, I pictured a more handsome older lady playing her, Qyburn is close enough, Blackfish is dead wrong the guy they cast looks like a proper tea sipping bitch. I am glad to see that they got Heath Ledger's clone to play Edmure Tully although not very close as to what I pictured, I always pictured Thoros as fat, Anguy is good, and Berric Dondarion is almost picture perfect.

I am quite happy with these choices.

If he will perform like he was in "Rome" (Brutus) it's pretty much spot on.

Holy crap, I didn't realize who that was from the picture, he looks different in it. All right, good actor, can't wait to see him play the **** out of Edmure Tully.

Ah no that's just Clive Russle cleaned up, he can also go very convincingly the other way.
