When she was talking to Ned about Robert in the very first book she says that he was all that a woman could ask for. But then he called her Lyanna in the wedding bed and from that point on it was poison.
I just wonder, if Margeary Tyrell is NOT that "innocent" or if she just provoke Cersei to attack her...
When? IMHO, she "loved" (in Cersei wayCersei at one time claims she loved robert, but he didn't produce...) Jaime and dreamt about Rhaegar as a young girl. Robert? She hated him from the beginning.
Book is VERY different from the series in this aspect.
Anyway, I admire Littlefinger and wish him luck.![]()

Yeah, but in "Feast for Crows" we can read her thoughts about that period of time and she is not that generous to Robert. Not a single good word about him actually.
I think she just played "poor woman" before Ned to gain advantage.
You're right Hellfish, I stand corrected.![]()
Actually, I liked this scene in series when Cersei and Robert were talking about their marriage - it added a little depth to Cersei character.
Just finished A Dance with Dragons......and all I have to say is....****! (more in white below; don't read if you're not at least 3/4 done with the book yet)
I can't believe Jon is dead....I was for sure he was important to the main story. Maybe he's not really dead though, only "dead."
Reply in white.
Could be "dead" but ressurected by the Red Woman like Thoros did to Beric Donarrion. Could be warged into Ghost too I suppose. Could even just be badly wounded then saved by the wildlings or Ghost. Either way, I hope he's not dead, his viewpoints were one of the more interesting ones we got to see. I gather GRRM won't specifically say whether he is dead or not, much like he refused to confirm that Aegon was dead before book 5.
GRRM pulled another "Brienne" on Jon. No way he's dead...
How often did we have characters with horrible wounds, blades in their guts, nooses aroundtheir necks coming back to life later?
I guess almost as often as having characters die from infected shaving cutsJon will be warged into Ghost I think, Melissandre saw him in the fires as man, than as a wolf than as a man again. Im actually more interested in Patchface ( whats the deal with him? ) and master of the Frey pies, Lord Manderly who pretty much stole the show along with Reek

Fat old Lord Manderly certainly has style. I liked his last words "He'd only have grown up a Frey". I suspect that he was behaving that way because he had word from Davos about his expedition to Skagos.
Whatever the reason, it looks as though Roose Bolton has lost control of the situation there.
I always kinda liked Roose. He is a psycho but was at least careful and calculating ( and an amusing fellow in his own way ) while Ramsay is sort of flaunting it and Stark bannermen were just waiting for an opening. I think Manderly would strike anyway when the time was ripe, Rickon or no Rickon, he lost a son at Red Wedding, he had quite a respectable number of ships built and hidden, White Harbor is the biggest city in the North giving him a nice large population to recruit from and House Manderly owes a huge debt to Starks. Rickon being on Skagos just sort of sped things up methinks. Anyway, I suspect that the main Manderly force might be creeping on boats up that river setting up an ambush for Boltons and Freys. I also dont really believe that Ramsay has Mance, he might have some spearwives captured but Mance makes too many references to Bael the Bard to be captured so easily.
^^^you guys are killing me. I can"t wait the French translation(could buy it and read it in English but as i started the series in french, that would be unfitted ...)
Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it.
Dont torment yourselfYou can always buy the translation later
