Stannis? why would she says Stannis? Yes he's in an alliance with the bastard of her late son, and he prayed for the death of Rob, but Stannis is noenemy of the Starks, yes she made a promice not to stand in her way of revenge, but she's a walking corpse now with no other interests than revenge. My guess is that Stannis will defeat the Boltons, they have been on a winning streak for way too long, after that his faith will probably be sealed

If you haven´t read the books yet and you enjoy speculating about what is going to happen, you might want to have a look at the "completely unspoiled speculation" thread on the www.televisionwithoutpity.com forums. very entertaining to read, and guaranteed no spoilers.
I intend on reading the series; one of my friends is has it and is about done. Fortunately this nice lull between seasons may give me that time to read.
My biggest fear is that the seventh book might not be out in time for seventh season, which might lead to all sort of cluster**** in the tv series.
My biggest fear is that the only version that will come out will be the series and the books will never be finished. The 6th book was supposedly already halfway written when the 5th was released because he had written so much that he had to cut the book in half so it wasn't 3,000 pages.
Edit Clarification: What was taken out were the character strings that you didn't see in the 5th book, so the 6th book will most likely be those characters and a huge battle as well.
Given how awesome book 1,2, and 3 is, Don't you guys worry how they gonna fill up the TV version of book 4 and 5? It's quite slow, and mostly about the characters deep in thought anyway. I have a feeling they will have to sum it up on 1 TV seasons only, or fill it to the brim with fillers. IMHO the high point of book 4 is only the Kingsmoot..
