The panels seemed a little close together (does that make sense?) so the dialogue could get lost a bit when transitioning from page to page. Otherwise didn't find anything difficult about it.

Seems to have something to do with end credit scenes, so nothing too crazy but that is still a bit strange. Ed Brubaker commented about the film and really enjoyed it, good to know. Loki's Army was confirmed after the big screening to be who people had thought it was going to be. Whited out : The Skrulls [or a version of them at least]

I really REALLY appreciate all the effort you guys put in to help me expand my little library, i will definitely try and read up on all your recommendations as much my damn crappy weekend swap meet job will let me. I think Fantastic Four and FF will be my first marvel picks of the year.

Can't I be a Komodo Dragon or something?

Glad to help, enjoy delving into the medium even more and remember to eat all your vegetables.

I forgot you mentioned Punisher, you can look at Punisher Max from Garth Ennis. As well as the kinda precursor to his modern Punisher character with Punisher : Born (Following Franks time in Vietnam)

Ennis also did a Punisher series in the early 2000's that starts with the Welcome Back Frank trade. Garth is pretty violent and just goes a too little crazy sometimes, his Preacher series is still his best IMO and you can also check you The Boys for a twisted satire on modern super heroes. He modeled one of the main characters after Simon Pegg.

The Boys...heard good things. Gotta check that out. I read that Punisher Viet Nam book methinks. Sort of quick read. Good painted art. Ultra violence. That the one?

Future Foundation was a group setup by Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. It seemed like that would be the new Fantastic Four of sorts but they brought back Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and the Fantastic Four book is continuing with Reed Richards still as the head of the Future Foundation. There has been no formal announcement yet of the return to the Fantastic Four name. It's honestly a little confusing to me, Custodes reads the series I think though.

You really can jump into the current storyline of the Future Foundation with Vol 1. The series seems to continue with the Future Foundation title as well the Fantastic Four title.

The Lee and Byrne runs are considered the best of all the FF runs, Mark Waid also did some good work. It's your choice really and you can consult the Marvel wiki for any continuity confusion and explanations of the various Earths.

All our local trashcan tops would no longer fit on the cans because, we used them as shields, usually like the Romans did, not our Cap but, the result was the same.

It was really just a kiss. A gross one yes but, a kiss. From one mutant sea creature king to a mutant sea creature queen (who looks like a giant squid/mullosk. That is all.

I haven't read Fantastic Four until lately. We use to call it FF for short but, than came the Future Foundation book which replaced Fantastic Four and Johnny died. Fantastic Four started its' numbering again at number 600 (they love anniversaries.)And Future Foundation has started again as FF with number one. FF is around issue 16 now(just can out) and that trade posted above is issues 1-5. Fantastic Four issue 605 just came out.

It is the recent Hickman stories I really like and the last few months they have gone back and forth, one book ends and the next book continues the story. It has became complex. And amazing. FF has Franklin and Valaria (Reed and Sues kids.) As well as Bentely, a smart kid clone of the Wizard, some Alternate Atlantean kids (one a floating head and some Mole kids (from Molemans' Realm.) Dragon Man has been reprogramed as their tutor (more physical strength protector) because, they are all super smart. Valaria is even smarter than Reed.

They regularly do things like steal Reeds' Time travel machine (cause Franklin wanted to see a dinosaur) and Reeds father is involved and Dr Doom (who Valaria calls Uncle and whispers in his ear a lot. Scary) and all the alternate Council of Reed Richards too. The Kree,The Inhumans, The Negative Universe, Celestials, Galactus the world eater(becomes Franklins best buddy....in the future). It is good.

So, if you are getting back issues, start with Hickman (sorry can not remember what Future Foundation number that is that becomes Fantastic Four, at this time. And then FF 1-5(above) if you want TPs. The others aren't out yet. It should be in one HC some day.

So, now I think you are looking for the fish issue number of Future/Fantastic Four Hickman did (when there was one book) then there are the 2 continuing in each other after that.

Does that sound right Komono, Sperm Whale god?

I looked up Hickman on Wiki and his Fantastic Four work seems long. I just started 8 months ago and have loved it. They just finished a huge several universes spanning storyline though.

I forgot to mention one of the Power Pack dudes in the FF and Artie and Leech (mutant kids) So many Foundationers I forget. In the last issue, when everyone thought Doom gave his life to save some time to fight the Celestials (thus saving the world) he appeared in a destroyed plane of existence with the help of Valaria. In it he found the Infinity Gauntlet of that realm (DON'T THINK IT IS OURS) with what appears to be only one missing gem. I saw Green/Soul, Yellow/Reality, Purple/Space, Blue/Time, Orange/Mind. That leaves Red/Power missing...quest? So she gave him a dimension to keep him busy.

    ^ What he said

Another really good Young Justice episode last night. Love Superboy going ape**** from his last patch, all out slugfest from the two sides. Good ending as well. The ultimate spidey series isn't too bad either, more kid friendly I guess watchable.

Yeah, they kicked ass twice. First with the Injustice League and then when coming clean with each other (finally)and busting Lex and Friends. That Vandal Savage ending sucks but, if Robin and friends save the day the JLA may have to give them all the keys to the Watchtower.

Who the Heck is IKON or whatever? And Flying Purple Ho?

Oh, Heresy I started reading (I checked) with FF 8 and went back and grabbed the FF Trade pictured. And read Fantastic Four 600-605 and loved it. It was the middle of a huge story going on for many years but, I dug it.

Like Frank said Ultimate Spider Man is very good. If you like Ultimate Universe which is different than the regular Marvel Universe (which is called 616.) The first HC is out 1-5 and the current issue is 9 so is might be possible to catch up.

Daredevil with Mark Waid is on issue 11. Read the HC 1-5 and scrounge the shops for the 6-11 get 12 new?

I think Kirkmans' Invincible (IMAGE) is a great super hero read. The TP are around 15 now. All numbered. Walking Dead is great too (don't know if your mom would like it and it's B&W)

I like Waids' 1)Irredeemable and 2)Incorruptible too. By Boom. Soon are ending but, they are all available in numbered TPs.

Ultimate Spiderman has the record for the largest number of online "vitual comics" ever sold.

Avengers Acadamy is a great book. Christopher Gage writer. Don't need to read the others. He also writes New Mutants.

    Hickman,
    Gage,
    Waid,
    Rememder
    Kirkman
    Gillen (Journey Into Mystery)
    Can't go wrong.

Spider Island Amazing books were good. Dan Slott.

And I like X-Factor. Peter David. This is written by one man and does NOT mix with the other books. So X-Factor is never continued somewhere else. It has been like this for years. Peter David made Hulk a big book in the 90s. Lots of X-Factor TPs to read, numbered, in order. I like grabbing runs of TPs of stuff I like. Guaranteed
    lengthy fun.
I read all the X-A books too, there are a lot like you say.

    Thanks for the Milestone wikis.

I can't see the videos. Ever since this latest MPN code maneuver or youtube maneuver (whatev)all I get is 1/4 of a screen. Can't seem to make it bigger. Some pictures too. Mine are shrunk down to nothing with image shack (can't read them). Anyway....no video action for me.

PS: Oh yes...I remember IKON now. From the 90s. Had to shake out the cobwebs.

Not sure I like Rockets voice. Sort of camp, African American, teen, hipster, vanilla.
