A volunteer uses a rescue dog to search for victims of a landslide in Bello municipality in Antioquia province, December 5, 2010. At least 50 people were missing in Colombia on Sunday after heavy rains caused a landslide in the northwest of the Andean nation, relief organizations said. The country is experiencing torrential downpours due to the La Niña weather phenomenon. The rains and floods have killed around 170 people so far this year, mostly in recent months, and affected 1.5 million more.

Artillery Day at the No. 4 Bajes

On December 4, 2010 marked the Day of Artillery at the Artillery Battalion No. 4 Jorge Eduardo Sánchez Rodríguez - BAJES. we were invited by their commander to join them also in this special ceremony. following photos of the event

As can be seen, this year's ceremony was held inside the multiple room of the
Battalion, because the rainy season now in Colombia could bring strong rains that affected the complet event. Despite these limitations, the unit was beautifully decorated for this celebration, and their artillery historical weapons were exposed to the guests, as a show of military might of this battalion, which is responsible for the safety of four municipalities of Antioquia.

Many thanks to the Artillery Battalion No. 4, his commander, his officers, noncommissioned officers, soldiers and civilians, for the great work being done for the Colombian people. We have together physically in various humanitarian actions in favor of the civilian population, and the important ceremonies that have been developed. We also support you in spirit in the weary and dangerous journey that must have their uniforms to prevent terrorists from fulfilling their ulterior motives. We are with you. Thanks.

There are multiple sources where they can obtain rifles. For example Venezuela, where many corrupt officers steal and sell military equipment to the terrorist. Also there are many evidences that confirm that the venezuelan president Hugo Chavez is supporting the guerrillas, with money and heavy weapons such as AT-4 and SAM's.

The black market is also a significant source for weapons, I may say that about 80 percent of the farc an other rebels groups weapons come from that source. Mostly from China (We have found in the past years, hundreds of chinese made rifles)

The terrorist main source of financing is the narcotics trade, they obtain every year hundreds and hundreds million of dollars selling cocaine and heroin to the mexican cartels. Narcotics that finally arrives to the US and Europe.

    regards

I'm not jelous at all. I just like to see more action and equipment photos instead of coctails photos.

As a matter of fact, I would like to know if those high rank officers know that Mr Hernandez (The guy that run's that webpage) is a former venezuelan soldier (And that is a fact).

And is true that in my spare time I like to go and take pictures of planes, but that's not always. I do have my personal friends inside all the armed forces and they take me inside the bases...

/sarcasm/ Here are two photos of the "Eagle Eye" Air Defence System. These were taken by me with the latest zoom lense (I was like two and a half miles from the cannon) just outside the wire... /sarcasm/
Lets see which part I am going to start with this. Really I don’t want to respond to your chillness but you deserve a call of reaction for your nonsense words.

You are walking on the edge with dangerous steps. First of all I think you must clear up your things with Mr. Hernandez because he is going to put on you a law suit at the “Fiscalia” "Difamacion and Injuria". Very bad crimes!!! You are very well know as a flamer in all the forums that you are involve, more you are more false than a coin of $3 dollars. You first mess up with me flaming this thread. Really you are a kid wasting my time on this. And who are you to call me any way, Mr. Flanker, Mr. Blackhawk O Mr. “Rambotito”, you have more alias and nicknames that you really don’t know who u are, Ohhh I forgot you still are a “Spotter kid”. Finally dont waist your time visitng my profile here, u better stay playing with your Xbox!!!!
