There will be an announcement as well as possibly a trailer for Battlefield 3 tomorrow (Friday). Game Informer will also publish their March edition detailing the Battlefield 3 game and giving further insight into it.
For fans of the Battlefield series, keep an eye out tomorrow. You may be in for a real treat. Almost 6 years and we have had no real information about the game......until tomorrow.

It was all about the mods, always has been.

The only thing I've heard is the game will be using Frostbite Engine 2.0 which is an updated version of the Bad Company 2 engine. It'll also be on PC and consoles so I hope this doesn't mean another game with small levels and no airplanes.
Destructibles and proper usage of DirectX 11 please.

you might be mistaken with Battlefield Bad Company 2. Trust me before the "Bad Company" spin-off battlefield was a whole different game and when you play Project Reality mod it is an awesome experience.
tbh, I liked BF2142 much better. Maybe it'll be even more into the future?
The only thing that sucks really is how you die from people tossing grenades at you from ****ing anywhere
EDIT - aw ****, another modern day one. I bet its in some made up Middle Eastern country too. Can't they make something like the Civil War/Napoleonic Wars/WWI/etc?
