Apparently the claim by DICE is that "a lot of people just didn't care" about the commander mode.
If you guys have twitter accounts you can express your concerns regarding this to the dev team with the #BF3 tags. They usually read the tweets there.
That is retarded. Whenever I played BF2 the fact if you had a good commander or a bad one usually would cost you the game or won it. I thought it was unique and it should STAY the hell in the game.
