    too much propaganda played there

A Libyan doctor(?) appeared holding the case of one large caliber round ( seemed like 23mm) and said on camera : this is what we are getting of the bodies after the jets bombing the people!!!!!!!

Dozens killed in battle for key Libyan town

Opposition forces in Libya were surging forward in the east, capturing new towns from the pro-Gaddafi Libyan army, but it was a different story on the other side of the country.
The town of Zawiya, 50 kilometres west of Tripoli, has reportedly fallen to government troops after almost a week of holding out against attempts by the regime to recapture it from the rebels.
Government tanks are reportedly in the town square, and dozens of people are reported to have died in a second day of fierce fighting for control of the coastal town.

G3: didn't you get the memo? Always demonize your opponent (not that Daffy needs that to look like a demon). These people; I fear are far less mature as a whole than we would like...too many Allahu Ak'bar shouts to my taste.

It doesn't make sense we are not intervening. Stalemale is the worst scenario. Even worse than a period of chaos, which can't be avoided anyhow and better comes early.

The faster Libya goes to reform the faster it resumes oil production, which should have been a big motive for us to kick Gaddafi out, in addition to humanitarian reasons, of course.
Almost forget to mention the NATO hostages held
Wrong. The US economy can not sustain such a high oil price. Other countries economies can not only sustain it, they even benefit from it.

Everything can be made to look like anything. The question is: is it one? I have yet to see a picture of a Libyan plane in the air. I only see guys on the ground shooting out of the camera angle, but don't see what they're shooting at. Only the text underneath the picture says that they are shooting at xyz.

They were in center of town for 2 or 3 times now, every time they retreated to the gates of the city and renewed offensive few hours later. As of now latest news from Zawiya are that military (Khamsi and Khweldi brigades) is still fighting rebels in Zawiya and that town has been repeatedly shelled by pro-Gaddafi forces.

Probably their way of flushing out most of the rebels. They kill a few hundred each time they take the city and then they go and hide among the civilians.
If they just retreat and attack again the rebels will try to defend it again...

Gaddafi had only 4 flyable Mirage F1. Two defected to Malta, the 2 remaining were training versions. Where does it stand that the downed plane was a F1 ? But Syrians are very capable to fly old MIGs.

Is this some random trash they found on the scrapyard?

I mean that thing came down somewhere... there has to be a field of debris. With engine parts. Wing Parts. Rocket/Missile Parts. And stuff.
