Default SAS and the FN Scar

At the moment the Australian british and New Zealand SAS are using the M4 Carbine as their main assault rifle. But with the introduction of the FN Scar into the U.S special forces will the SAS regiments around the world trade in the M4 for the FN Scar. Also will the Commando's use the FN Scar as well ?

Click on here http://www.defence.gov.au/dmo/ every day until you see them tendering for a new rifle. Until then, you're calling for speculation.

Mate, are you in the ADF?

Do you know about SF acquisition of equipment? I imagine it runs a bit differently to the normal tender process the rest of the ADF goes through.

If the SCAR's capabilities far outweighed the capabilities of the M4 then I think they'd look into it...
I doubt you'll get an answer from here - remember, the fact our SF began wearing multicam was not a widely know fact until after it had started happening

The S.A.S. regiments from UK/NZ/AUS share the same heritage not the same armoury.

If the U.S.A. have it, we've got to have it ? I don't think so !

    Stupid ****in thread.

Do something useful like go and whine about NZ not having fighters for the umpteenth time instead.
