This year's SHOT featured a few manufacture delivery aftermarket accessories for the FN SCAR system, in my opinion, the Tangodown designed rail extension are the slickest of them all. the rail you see in these picture are of SLI fast prototype plastic mock up, so in case you are wondering about the crack between the lower rail and the extension rail... its is just broken by hundreds of people handling the SCAR with this slick, slim and very functional SCAR rail extension.
Tjhis design retain both the front sight post and also the ability to adjust the gas without removing the extension.
Some has had problems with the existing SCAR stock closing with some slight pressure, the solution to that dilemma is this new machined alloy stock latch.
SCAR cocking handle, does not protrude as badly as the factory unit.
These parts are designed by an ex-FN engineer whom worked extensively on the SCAR platform, so all parts are well thought out, and thoroughly engineer to bring function and performance of the platform to the next level.
