I believe the best way to kick off my SHOT show pictorial is to start with the awesome AAC SHOT show party.

Default Tangodown, SOD, Elite Defense at SHOT 2011

This year's SHOT featured a few manufacture delivery aftermarket accessories for the FN SCAR system, in my opinion, the Tangodown designed rail extension are the slickest of them all. the rail you see in these picture are of SLI fast prototype plastic mock up, so in case you are wondering about the crack between the lower rail and the extension rail... its is just broken by hundreds of people handling the SCAR with this slick, slim and very functional SCAR rail extension.

Tjhis design retain both the front sight post and also the ability to adjust the gas without removing the extension.

Some has had problems with the existing SCAR stock closing with some slight pressure, the solution to that dilemma is this new machined alloy stock latch.

SCAR cocking handle, does not protrude as badly as the factory unit.

These parts are designed by an ex-FN engineer whom worked extensively on the SCAR platform, so all parts are well thought out, and thoroughly engineer to bring function and performance of the platform to the next level.

Elite Defense is a unknown name plate to the tactical accessories industry, but Elite has been a major player in the defense industry as one of largest Arms exporter house for the manufacture. their new scope mount is a quick release variant, the mount you see here are a prototype so the exterior layout are not finalized as of SHOT, but you can see the concept and also the equal force mounting clamps that put force on all sides of the picatinny rail.

The adjustment nut are notched for locking purpose so you are never out of adjustment, and if you need to make a quick adjustment, it is as easy as popping the lever and making the required turn on the adjustment nut.

    SOD

SOD, the Italian tactical clothing house makes some of the best tactical outfitter int he world, the fit is like a well made Italian suit with the durability of a rhino.

    Default Vltor at SHOT 2011

This new innovative gas block/flash hider will effectively add an extra inch of gas travel to your SBR, this cheats the gun into thinking it actually has a longer gas dwell time.

difference between the now well discussed Vltor A5 stock to the standard carbine length stock.

What's better than an AK47, it would have to be a SIG SG556/47
