I know we've got a bunch of folks on the board who play one or the other or both of these. I thought I'd start this thread so we can talk smack about our armies and post pictures of them.
I'll start it off with some pictures of my Skaven, the mostly from the Island of Blood starter set.

Got to say that I painted them before I was aware of the clan structure of the Skaven. So we'll say a minor clan that has attached themselves to a larger one in the (vain) hope of not being used as canon fodder/slaves/food. The Squeeky Stabbers.Originally Posted by Grey Stoat

Nice! I like the bloke with the power sword. High Elf is good too. I have the High Elves from the Island of Blood set but I haven't touched them. My current painting technique really isn't suited to High Elves, it leaves figures looking dark and dirty, not the clean look HE need.
My only good painted guy from my high school days. My best painted unit that is also a bit unfinished. My painting was pretty much crap but I plan on starting Warhammer this summer as it is.
This here stormboy nob is called Stubbornz due to the way he protected his house during a three way fight between Dark Angles, Tyranids, and Black Templars. He survived 3 turns of hand-to-hand between the Black Templars and the Nids. He got a couple Nids and a marines iirc before the Templars took the house and then blew him away.

Haven't played the game, but my oldest son and I read the hell outta the WH40K books.
