It appears to be a Imperial Navy thunderbolt pilot.
Inet, that is really nice work mate. And Corrupt, is that a Valkyre pilot?

I resisted the temptation to post in this thread for only so long. After looking at all your nicely painted models I have been thinking about digging up some of mine. Nothing as nicely painted as your lot though. Also I think most of them are lead.
I was into Chaos and Orks. Warhammer and 40k, although my favourite game was Gorkamorka which was like Necromunda with Orks and vehicles.
I shall have a rummage around tomorrow I think and see what I can find.
Yeah I liked Chaos and Orks because there was lots of rotting flesh and skulls to be had as trophies. That sounds a bit twisted but I was assured by somebody on here in a previous thread about gamesworkshop that that is totaly exceptable. Ha.
Anyway whoever said they think their paints have dried up, I have some of the old pots with the pop off caps and the paint is fine. Not the hexi pots either, the round ones.
Thought I'd post something about GW's washes, which are one of the best things to happen to lazy painters like myself ever.
Here is the figure that is going to be the standard bearer for one of my Empire units - in this case the Nordland Mariners. I've finished block painting it and you'll notice that it seems pretty flat and lifeless. Especially the yellow and flesh areas.

Now the same figure with a Sepia wash applied to the yellow areas and a Flesh wash applied to the face and hands. Note the definition of the shadows in the puffy sleeve on the left arm and that you can make out details on the face. And it's as simple as applying the wash like a paint with an old brush. Unlike the old inks, it dries fairly matt too which is a bonus.

OK so here we go. I found some stuff and took a couple of photos but then the batteries in the camera died so you will have to wait for more.
Its realy hard taking pictures of minatures by the way.
Right lets see what we have. None of my painting was very good by the way so dont expect anything great.
Some plague marines from the days of old. All lead by the way. What are the plague marines like now? Some fancy multi part plastic I assume. If anyone has any post them up please.
A juganought of khorne. Is that spelling correct?
Again all lead and rather heavy. Terrible painting on this one but I was proberly 12 or 13 when I did this.
Some unfinished berzerkers. A lot of my stuff is unfinished, I always liked the making rather that the painting.
A... um... I dont know. Make your own mind up. Also mostly lead parts. If any of you are realy old gamers then can you tell me where the wings come from?
Now proberly my best painted minature ever. A terminator with some serious firepower. Autocannon is it?
Well theres a start. Let me know ehat you think.
I shall add more when possible. I would realy like to find the gorkamorka Orks as although not the best models I have fond memories of what was in my oppinion the best game they made.
Here we go again. These are the models of my brother's blood angels army.
Jesus, those Blood Angels look insane. He must have spent 2-3 hours on each guy.
Those sons of Sanguinius look great.
I must have taken a serious knock to the head because I just picked up another 80 Skaven and the rest of another Island of Blood Skaven set.
Did you also buy the Skaven uniform and heraldry book ?
I guess i should start painting this guy and few others.
