Nice looking Nordlanders. For the Empire!!!
Spent the last two weeks trying to bring my Beastmen up to the same level as the Skaven and Empire. I know have about 2500 points of Skaven and about the same of Beastmen.

Chaos Warhounds, hopefully these guys will tie up some enemy units for a while so I can flank attack them.

lol didn't even know this thread was here since I never venture into the R/A/P forum. I recently started collecting 40k. Bought a bunch of stuff right before the latest price hike (don't think I would've bothered with the new prices, though).
Have yet to paint any of my models or even permanently assemble them...my AoBR models are ghetto playable, but I have another tac squad, 7 tanks, a Ravenwing battleforce, and a couple extra attack bikes that aren't even assembled at all. Took a crappy pic of my AoBR tac squad...not going pure IA, so I filed off the shoulder arrows. I also drilled the barrels, sawed their slots off, and gave 'em some resin bases to make 'em look a little better and more dynamic. Still have some arm/gun fitting to do before I paint and glue them...so much for "snap fit".
I've also discovered a pet peeve...nobody models the "pilot light" on the flamethrower...not even when they model it firing, wtf. Even my temp example looks a ton better already.
Very nice work, I'm liking the bases. I wish I had easy access to that type of thing, but they tend to be very expensive around these parts.
Now you just have to paint them.... Just!

Yeah, I thought I got the worst of it off but some are still pretty visible.
August is for me 'Elf n Safety month. Well mostly elves. I got a battalion box of elves and bought some more Island of Blood figures too. End result should add up to about 2600 points of elves.
Progress has been good so far. Finished 10 Sword Masters last night...
More Elves, this time it's Spearmen and Archers. Should have a bolt thrower finished today at some point too.
