Hey guys, Im currently taking a break from my Black Templars and want to start up the IG . However there is a small problem. I am after the Forgeworld Cadian Upgrade Respirator Head's and im struggeling to find suppliers out there apart from Forgeworld. I know for a fact that Games Workshop refuse to sell individual parts which I have inquiered about before >

Ebay isnt helping at the moment either because nobody is selling any. Did anyone have any links to other suppliers?

No help, just sympathy. It's a shit getting parts from the rest of the world to our part. Shipping seems to cost vastly more than the models themselves.

Mate, thanks alot for the links I never heard of Combat Company seem pretty sweet mob though. Unfortunitley none of them have the heads Im after doh! Ill keep searching

thanks for the photos and info everyone. as a past player (eldar) I would like to ask if there has been any news on new releases for the eldar or tau units. seems like a long time since any new units for these armies have been released even from forgeworld

Updates, everyone loves updates right? Right?

First of all some Warhammer Quest. I'm trying to complete one type of enemy per week (and almost succeeding even).

Some mostly finished Snotlings. I'm going to get some putty to build up their bases so they match other units.



Orc Warriors. I swapped a couple of swords for leftover Beastmen axes to create a little variety. Still have a couple of these unpainted.



And Orc Arrow Boyz. Had to replace a couple of broken bows, and they look a bit naff so I'll keep them hidden at the rear...





Some hero figures. First up the Elves. I didn't paint the HE Ranger, he (or perhaps she - looks very drag-queenish) came pre-painted and I'm not going to repaint it. The Witch Elf on the end has both arms broken off, so I'll be hunting through the spares to see what I can substitute.





And lastly some human heros. I didn't paint the Witch Hunter, but I'm quite happy with the existing paint job even if it isn't what I'd have done. And bonus is that he looks a lot like my friend Sean who plays a Witch Hunter in our Warhammer FRPG games...



And then there is a WIP of some scenery. A while back I got a second hand Fortified Manor. As I already had one completed, I did some hunting around on the internet and have shamelessly stolen one of the better re-workings.

Yep, got some ready to go, just not going to put it on until I've painted around it as it'll be tight.

So, I ended up finding some of those Cadian Resperator heads on Ebay but from England -_-....bought 3 of them cause thats all the guy had lol. Anyway! I got another question for you guys. What you think about adding these as the heads for the Guard ?? They are 28mm and I would be using the NOD heads rather than the naked helmets. I know GW are tight arses when it comes to the figures but would you reckon they would spit the dummy with the heads?

Well they're pretty cool heads. You'd only have problems if you tried to use them in an official GW tournament (and I'm not sure they even run any of those in our part of the world).
