Nope they didn't . Both died. If you watch the video closely you see that both pilots did eject only about a second before the plane crashed on the ground. They hit the floor almost with the same speed as the plane itself. The rebels confirmed the death of the pilots.

As I said before it was a singleseater mig-23 ML and not a mig-23 UB twoseater.The second parashuite is the km-1m ejectionseat stabilising shute.Too bad this guy did not make it :S
