Other part of the same scene...looks like some sort of impeller. Perhaps someone working with this hardware can shed some light on them.

supposedly the “anti-corruption ministry” according to the Libyan regime. The journalists spent one hour there observing the damage. “We found the remains of what we believe was a JDAM bomb in the wreckage of the Ministry,” Mark Stone writes.
Apparently there's an intelligence building next to it, according to the reporter:
He also added that the building next to the one they visited was said to be an intelligence facility, but they were not granted access to it.
I like this reporter..he's giving NATO targetting information in his reports LOL..

BTW..I'm actually impressed on how that last hit looks so clean...no collateral damage AT ALL...look at the road, not a single fragment...

I'm pretty sure though that Q's pic was hung there after the strike. Still, if this is an actual NATO hit,it is VERY precise.

Free Libyan Army from Zintan advance east to defeat Q's which went to #Arriyanah
Interesting clip..long clip, 18 mins. I get the distinct impression of 'Weekend Warriors' here. Also, there's a large sniper rifle somewhere in there that I can't identify.
Also, at 10:35 you see a 4 man machinegun crew in action LOL: one to fire the gun,one to feed the ammo, and two to grab the gunner and keep him in place!
At several moments you can hear the loyalist bullets zoom by...very loudly actually.

Reglementary Overseas Shorts, equipment for hot climates areas, originally came from the colonial troops uniforms (but were longer, they still exist in some units as a summer parade uniform I think).
While seeing them on soldiers is relatively rare airbase personnel treasure them (sun + heat of the runaway + heat of the planes + physical work = you're happy to wear as little clothes as you can). The more south you go the more likely you're to see some.

But yeah you can laugh they are an actual part of the standard uniforms.

No one died in that attack, before bombardment all ships were warned about imminent attack and Libyan government also never mentioned any casulties.

Firefight between two tree lines. RPGs, 23mm AAA, recoilless rifles -return fire and loyalist troops visible in the distance.

Oh wow, you can clearly see enemy soldiers in the video moving perpendicular to line of sight. It almost seems that they actually just playing and dont want to kill each other.

That message is month old, it surprise me that CNN found it just now (http://world-news-post.blogspot.com/...rom-north.html). This could be also some food for the mind, directly from brother leader himself http://www.businessinsider.com/qaddafi-al-qaeda-2011-3

One would think that after 2 months of fighting in urban enviroment they would learn to aim and not to spray all their bullets into the air.

LOL I wouldn't say that really...they are putting considerable pressure on the other side. It's in fact more in line with some of the battles between US/NATO troops in Afghanistan and the Taliban..same intensity.

“Libyan army tank that was hidden in vegetable market, hit by NATO aircraft in Misrata.”
