New from Bani Waldi turns out it was not pro G supporters but angry civilans cant say I blame them and there are no green flags like in earlier reports. The tricolor flags are still there and the new council and residents reject accusations that they remain loyal to Gaddafi.
People demand something, it's very easy to label them as Gaddafi supporters, just because they do not bow to militias. Locals in Bani Walid resisted. IMHO those NTC militias were spooky from day one....

Yes i think you are right
I've got another short piece on some of the optics of the Libyan conflict up on my personal blog - http://rogueadventurer.wordpress.com...lict-part-iii/
A few guys were telling me their FN FAL came from Qatar, including a fighter who worked at the Benghazi airport at the time of the revolution: he said he saw crates of FN FAL from Qatar. It looks like several sources corroborate the fact that Qatar was sending weapons to the rebels, but I was wondering though if someone could say something about those two FALs I've seen. Maybe there are some particular details showing that they were once sold to Qatar before being transfered to Libya it such is the case. I hope those pictures are big enough for you to see. Any help very much appreciated. D

I cant help with much other than that Qatar adopted the FN FAL in 1956 and that it was used by soldiers as recently as in the 1991 Gulf War.
