Cockpit footage of strikes on Libyan targets
Some night footage from French Tiger's:
Night strikes by French Tigre helicopters
Those gun shots from the Tigre looks pretty spread out. No sound so I could not tell the distance they were shooting from.

From the french helicopter footage that I've seen from Afghanistan, its the same thing. Cannon was spread out and the non-laser guided rockets didn't hit a thing.
You could calculate the distance by measuring the time between the cannon firing and the rounds hitting. (you don't need sound, you can tell by the little wobble in the picture when it fires.) You'll need to count the frames between when the wobble starts and first round hits.

The astan footage showed gun and rocket fire from 2000 m and beyond. From the french helicopter footage that I've seen from Afghanistan, its the same thing. Cannon was spread out and the non-laser guided rockets didn't hit a thing.
Here it looks to be quite the same range meaning long range for a gun and non guided rockets (see the level of magnification of the FLIR and the size of the houses and bunkers)
Anyway this is not very important for the rockets which are area effect Apers ammos
But the sooner we get Hellfires, the better
Thanks for the videos
while the Apache strie on the radar tower is clear, I can't really see what the Tigres are firing at ? Infantrymen ?
