A new video has surfaced which shows how Gaddafi forces entered the town of Az-Zawiyah back in March. The mosque shown in the video was later razed to the ground.

It's on wikipedia, and I've heard it before on news sites dedicated on venezuela. The factory has a capacity of 50.000 AK-103s a year. Are you sure about that? is there any review by venezuelans member like Nuclear_warriors?
AK-103 indeed, the small details count AKM out. According to this Libya was going to build a factory to manufacture AK-103 under license. Rifles are possibly from some small pre mass produce batch.

A nice 85 pictures gallery on Denverpost : http://blogs.denverpost.com/captured...rigo-abd/4484/On War: Two weeks in Libya with Rodrigo Abd
Associated Press photographer, Rodrigo Abd, has been capturing the scene in Libya for the past two weeks.
LOL! That factory still isn't working, they still are building so get your head out of your ass and stop posting stupid comments.
So... Just like every conflict in history then, "illegal" being a somewhat subjective term. Thank goodness the French supplied the colonies with some "illegal" arms & support during the revolution against Britain for my sake anyway.
Gaddafi apparently started it anyway by using so-called illegal arms against some civilians whilst targeting rebels (note the MAT-120 submunition ordnance below):

I wonder if it was an homage to this:
Well I haven't got my head stuck up there but I simply read the wikipedia:LOL! That factory still isn't working, they still are building so get your head out of your ass and stop posting stupid comments.

I suggest you alter the wikipedia page instead of doing off-the-bat insults lol...A manufacturing plant to produce the AK-103 in Maracay is now operational, with a production capacity of 50,000 units per year.
Well, we should only really count weapons smuggled into Libya since the conflict started ...Arms are being supplied to the conflict zone illegally.
I'd say the most obvious weapons are the Qatari Milans...otherwise I really haven't seen much evidence of other stuff brought in. Oh yes, and apparently a Mortar from Qatar...but otherwise the evidence of weapons smuggled into the conflict zone for either side is pretty thin. The 32nd brigade already had the FN-2000 and P90s...they're supposed to have FN Five-Sevens as well to match the P90s but I've seen no pics of those yet.
My guess is this was a mortar round, but anyone with a better guess?
Small update:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libyan_...rces#Equipment
Shows apparently the AK-103 as Libyan army small arms equipment, so Venezuela does not need to be in the picture.
