Maybe it cause rebels tend not to do so much terroristic things such as welcoming a mass-murdering terrorist like Al-Megrahi home as a hero and they simultaneously fight for freedom from such people who do? P.S. - It's spelled "They're" ya troll.

Uh, no - That photo of the plane landing is in Tripoli, so probably no rebel types there. Not that some of those people might not have tried to escape the insanity of Tripoli by now or else wish they were with the rebel side - can't blame them.

In fact, Al-Megrahi comes from the Mgarha tribe based in the loyalists strong hold of Sabha which are strong allies with Gaddafi tribe.

Dozens of Libyan women in Benghazi fired machine guns in the air to celebrate the end of their military training session, as they vowed to take up arms against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
    .

Libya is blessed with vast reservoirs of oil and water, however both need electricity to get them out of the ground.

Muamar Gadaffi, Libya's longtime leader, has tried to cut access to these resources, by cutting electricity from opposition strongholds in the east of Libya.

Al Jazeera's Anita McNaught reports from Jalu, Libya.
