A pistol-grip with no buttstock and full auto?

    Yeah I guess. I wouldn't advise it.

Looks like a ventilated Handguard to me (series of dots) on an M2 the selector would be right behind the handguard on the left side

Any idea where these pics are from?

    Phillipines?

The MAC10 looks funky enough to be a home built version as well. note the metal front grip on it.

Hey, I said it was plausible. That basically means that I wouldn't do it because it is dumb/unsafe/unworkable. But a person could accomplish those goals if they were sufficiently retarded.

Some wannabe mid-east warlord thug would fit the ownership criteria quite well. Although it's probably from where LD suspects, the Phillipines.

PS: Those guns are damn rusty despite having WD-40 available.

Yup the picts just screamed the Philippines. From the bastardized Carbine, old 1911 and the Mac- 10, it had to be. i am 90% sure the 1911 and Mac-10 are backyard built, we call them Paltiks here.

It is an M1 Carbine variant, to be sure, but the pistol grips seem integral to the rest of the stock, so my guess is not any standard variety. Perhaps a Korean manufacture? Rest of the stock looks like a M2 style, they are thicker than the M1 variety.
Also, please don't use WD 40 on firearms. It is a bad idea.
Also those .30 carbine 30 round mags are ****e. jam-o-matic. worthless.

    WD-40 really doesn't protect...it lubricates
