Ask Israeli POWs, ask Lebaneses how brutal is the Syrian army.
So we are just putting in the same brutes just in addition with some Mujahideen, Al qaeda and Muslim brotherhood? hm... who Is the lesser evil in this war ? Is the Syrian army going to implemnt Sharia law unto Syria ? no Is Mujahideen, Al qeada, Muslim brotherhood going to yes they are. It's an Arab army fighting as it was trained and equipped. Nothing more.

And I find it funny that Syria was at one time an ally in Gulf War 1 - Seems they weren't bad guys then eh?

The jordanian army or the tunisian army have no history of such behavior just only the armies trained by the USSR
They were with the coalition because the baath party from iraq and syria are ennemies who helped iran against iraq hafiz al assad

Apparently you've never heard of Black September - The Jordanian army killed untold number of Palestinians so don't give me that shit. This has zero to do with the USSR or the Russians.

They did not contribute to the fight. Their presence was symbolical to show there was an Arab coalition against Saddam.
Assad was paid for this by KSA, unfortunately at the expense of Lebanon where Arab League let him have a free hand for some 15 more years.

I agree with Yves. For the Israelis, the Jordanian army had a good reputation in treating POWs.

I'm aware of the reasons and of the hypocrisy. I just stated it to refresh some memories around here. The West always looks the other way when you do their bidding; whether it's helping them attack another country or in torturing subjects it is not legally allowed to do.

A massacre is a massacre - Don't you dare try excusing one for the other. They are what they are....crimes.

The Jordanian army also shelled the piss out of Israeli civilian areas - deliberately targeting them. How you make excuses for them is beyond me.
