How many Syrians are actually in FSA?

    http://deadlinelive.info/2012/10/05/...igence-report/

According to this report Syrians are fighting on the side of Assad against foreign jihadists. It's not civil war, but foreign invasion and Syria have its right to defend.

I'm in no way justifying actions of those citizens of russian federation and think any torturer deserve a Mi-24 strafe run upon his head

    but argument
Really don't understand why the US thinks it has to get involved with this and side with the types who commit these crimes
sounds childish and is in fact an example logic failure: "a jihadist is fighting assad, he beheaded an alawyte ---> all who fight assad = jihadists ----> all behead alawytes ----> if US helps someone who fight assad it helps jihadists to behead alawytes"

and actually Obama told today in Berlin his usual bla-bla-bla:
US President Barack Obama on Wednesday refused to specify the exact nature of new US military aid to Syrian rebels, after his officials let it be known they could expect shipments of small arms.

"I cannot and will not comment on specifics on our programs related to the Syrian opposition," Obama said
"What we want to do is end a war," he said, calling again for a political transition in Syria that does not include Assad.

thank you very much for this valuable input from highly trusted source and please say to RT they should've changed the number of foreing mercenaries to 101% to make all story sound more plausible

Christ you are completely clueless, he's been committing terrorist acts in Russia since 1994; why the fvck would he retain citizenship?

The FSA tolerates the Jihadists committing horrific acts and many in the FSA ranks support them(with Croatian weapons from Jordan and Turkey).

Plus when has supporting a loose coalition of predominantly Islamic rebels not backfired?

so he is a citizen of the world, or still posesses a passport of USSR? but it's not really important, forget it, I'm not trying to condemn your beloved russia for sending him to syria in some kind of a black ops conspiracy to demonize the rebels, it's a civil war - they can manage it themselves.

You know, I could've just mirrored your post like: "SAA tolerates the Shabiha+NDA+shia militias etc. committing horrofic acts and all the SSA ranks support them (with fire support and russian weapons from russia)", but it would not bring the discussion any further. For me the case is clear: assad should go, war should be stopped no matter what (split the country if you cannot live together), all foreign forces must leave. By arming the rebels one can put a pressure upon assad and make him understand that military victory is not possible - force him to negotiate and stop the bloodshed. Jihadists could be dealt with afterwards as I doubt they would be supported by the locals after the ceasefire.

tell me when has something not backfired? it's a law of life: actions cause consequences. An alternative for the civilized world would be to sit on the a$$ watching people of syria being shelled and bombed and ethnically cleansed

Russia sending a terrorist with the blood of innocents and POWs to Syria to form a militant group that loves Jihad and wants to slaughter Infidels including Ethnic Russian Syrians?

Rick James was right, cocaine is a hell of a drug.

The vast majority of those Russian weapons were supplied by the SOVIET UNION decades ago, weaponry from the RF was delivered YEARS before the protests, minus that one freighter in February 2012 but that's dubious. The "moderate" rebels on the other hand were given Croatian weaponry by the GCG to give them an edge over the radicals, but predictably the Rebels gave the radicals said weaponry en masse.
