Syrian Army and Hezbollah Capture 3 Towns in Northern Dara’a
http://www.almasdarnews.com/article/...orthern-daraa/The Syrian Arab Army’s 9th Armored Division and Hezbollah have secured three imperative towns in northern Dara’a from the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda “Jabhat Al-Nusra” (Al-Nusra Front) after almost two straight weeks of fierce firefights in this area.
The first area that was captured by the 9th Division was Al-Habariyah; this town on the border of the Rif Dimashq Governorate was the scene of immense violence this week, as the SAA contingent carried out a fierce assault to advance to nearby Tal Qareen.
As a result of their success at Al-Habariyah, the 9th Division advanced to Tal Qareen, where Hezbollah was engaged in a violent confrontation with the Al-Nusra Front and 1st Brigade of the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
Within two hours of their advance, the 9th Division and Hezbollah steamrolled the enemy combatants at Tal Qareen, securing the area after killing over 20 militants.
Immediately after their capture of Tal Qareen, another contingent from the 9th Division declared the town of Sibsiba under complete Syrian Army control; this town is located directly north of the besieged Kafr Nissaj.

France, Britain dismiss calls to renew relations with Syria's Assad
France and Britain dismissed on Friday any suggestion of restoring relations with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, saying this would likely end all hope of a political transition and push moderates into the arms of radical Islamist groups.
With the rise of Islamic State insurgents, some European Union member states are critical of the position in Paris and London and say it might be time to re-establish communication with Damascus given that a four-year-old revolt has failed to overthrow Assad, diplomats say. In a column published in Arabic daily Al-Hayat and France's Le Monde, the French and British foreign ministers hit back at those who sought a rapprochement with Assad by saying he was using the fear of Islamic State, which has seized wide areas of northern and eastern Syria, to win back international support.
Right now I'm at a demonstration against ISIS organized by christians from Syria and Iraq. A couple of thousands here and I see both the syrian and iraqi flag among the assyrians.
No FSA flag here..
