More than 100 people were killed Monday, according to opposition human rights groups, including 30 civilians in an army artillery assault on al-Latmana, a town in the central province of Hama. Syrian helicopter gunships also attacked a nearby village.

Thank God the Turks think things like this through.
Now I see that you resort to distorting what I write.

Time will tell if Erdo's policy of rattling sabres and not actually doing anything will pay off with Assad.

I am quite sure Assad has realised that Erdogan is all talk. After all his troops shot fugitives WITHIN Turkey without facing any consequence.

Syria's allies blame the journalist, even though Syria fired into Lebanon.

Wat? They actually are saying the men were brave, but that bravery has a toll. Just like any other news outlet out there.

    hold on .....

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...ss-border.html

According to Turkish officials, Syrian troops pursued rebels across the border following an attack on a checkpoint that killed six soldiers. Two Syrian nationals, described as civilian, were subsequently shot dead as they tried to escape to the nearby Killis refugee camp.

It was unclear whether the two victims had already crossed the frontier but five more people – including a Turkish policeman – were later shot and wounded, this time indisputably on Turkish soil.

but but but .......... we were told that it was an unprovoked attack?!!

What I understood was there were two attacks yesterday. One targeting refugees fleeing to Turkey and another shooting at refugees in the camp.

Michel Aoun's TV station simply blamed al-Jadeed... Don't know who is worse.

MOSCOW (*******) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov urged U.N.-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan on Tuesday to step up efforts to ensure Syrian opposition groups adhere to his ceasefire plan, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
In a telephone conversation with Annan, Lavrov "put special emphasis on the fact that the Syrian opposition and countries supporting it must also take urgent measures aimed at providing for a stable ceasefire, calling on Annan to increase work with them in that direction," it said.

Distorting? As in you writing that I make up excuses for Assad. Once again, you're advocating the bombing of a country without knowing the facts on the ground. Look at themacedonian post above me and tell me Turkey bombing Syria is still a good idea.
