"Minimum wage for 15-year-olds rises four cents"

The minimum wage for 15-year-olds doing holiday jobs will go up four cents this year to €2.52 per hour, the social affairs ministry has decided.

Young teenagers can take a holiday job from the age of 13, but there is no minimum wage for 13 and 14-year-olds.
Youngsters may work a maximum seven hours a day and no more than five days in a row. They are also barred from working with machinery and without adult supervision.

    Four cents?

I suppose so. At least there is a minimum for that age bracket, I find myself paying more for mowing the lawn and washing the cars, am I going soft?

Are they working without adult supervision and driving lawnmovers... basicly operating machinery? If yes, then you need to pay them lots of extra

There is no max, only a minimum; for 23 years and over it is €9,49 per hour for a 38h work week.

Sorry, I don't want to deprive the local kids out of some pocket money, there's little work in this part of the country for them as it is.

We don't really, we just feel sorry for them.
They live right nextdoor and yet have to go without the awesomeness that comes natural for us.
So we pretend to dislike them, it seems to boost their self image somehow.

"New Dutch 'supercar' Vencer Sarthe unveiled"

The all-new Dutch supercar, named the Vencer Sarthe, has been recently unveiled, with its carbon fiber body, tubing chassis and V8 engine.

    ..........
The Vencer Sarthe supercar is a hand-built vehicle which is riding on a steel and chrome-moly tubing chassis, covered by a carbon fiber body and sitting on 19 / 20-inch alloy wheels. Power to the Vencer Sarthe is coming from a mid-mounted V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 503 horsepower and a peak torque of 650 Nm (480 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which is sending power to the rear wheels via a limited slip differential. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is done in 3.8 seconds and the supercar can achieve a top speed of 326 km/h (202 mph). Pricing is yet to be announced.
edit: estimated cost is now at €265.000
