Brother, of course the military deserves ALL the credit for getting the job. However, It took this president 2 years to green light a hit inside of one of "allies" own backyard to kill UBL while the last 2 presidents failed to get it done. Clinton had cold feet before 9/11 to pull the trigger on this guy and the Bush Admin screwed up in Tora Bora and did more for nation building than killing UBL. Ever since Obama took office there was a spike in killing HVTs and the like and I've been saying that Obama has let us do what must be done. So, it does matter what the CIC does and Obama deserves credit for making the tough decision.

Remember, it has to do with political decisions being decided in the face of potential disaster. This shows that Obama had total faith in our SOF in getting the job done, and trust me, that is a tough decision that should not be ignored.

ya I hear ya' I still think the media and even Obama himself needs to not make it about him and his decisions though.

Dominique: Same here, but that would still have been Illegal if he surrendered. Although I would have loved to see his face staring shamelessly at the cameras and ranting about an ISlamic Revolution only to be hanged later. He would have been SO demythified and demystified...a real victory.
