Direct action to decapitate enemy C2 nodes, something every military would do in the same position.
    Maybe you should be here?

Because here you will garner abuse for such a Naive way of thinking. I would love, absolutely have loved to have been the trigger puller who sent OBL to hell with a controlled pair of 5.56mm. I think most of the posters here would agree with me on that.

Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in a U.S. helicopter raid on a mansion near the Pakistani capital Islamabad early on Monday, ending a long worldwide hunt for the mastermind of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.
Members of an elite Navy Seals team dropped by helicopter to the compound were under orders to kill not capture bin Laden, who had eluded U.S. forces for 13 years, a senior U.S. security official told *******.
"This was a kill operation," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Great job done by US Forces. Though a lot of you are negative about Pakistan's role, is there not any chance Pakistan(and/or ISI) has contributed to this operation?

Beside what's the point of even capturing him. So you could lose more people doing so? Let's not forget that he was armed during the firefight, so taking him alive was a no go.

Osama Bin Laden declared war on USA (and the rest of the western word), and you don't really need to put him on trial if it's war.

No you can't, and we don't have to deal with it

Mate, I'm not American and to be honest if I wasn't somewhere dry I would be toasting OBL's addition into the Indian Oceans shark populations dietary intake...in a very shameless manner.

I understand the sarcasm and scepticism, especially from you coming from India hulaku, but is there no chance Pakistan actually informed about his hide-out( perhaps after some serious pressure or something else )

No doubt pakistan has lost some troops fighting terrorists but at the same time they openly shelter a **** load more while being funded by western govts to do the opposite. ISI is well known to be acting against us/nato troops in afghan.. pakistan is a corrupt ****hole just the way it is.

If that was the case the Americans would have said that. And they could have arrested him and handed him over like they did Mullah Birader. Any sane man can see through the deception, being Indian or not does not matter. It just vindictes what I always said on this forum. Only I thought he was at mansion in Karachi but it seems he liked the hills of Abbotabad
