And I still can't find a definitive answer as to what this is.
I live about 35 miles south of Beale AFB in Northern California and about the only exciting thing I ever see from there are T38's and the occasional U2. This afternoon I see this bizarre turboprop flying overhead the likes of which I've never seen before. Beale has TFR's practically everyday for the Global Hawk but this plane is entirely new to me. I grabbed some shots but it's overcast today and I have a crappy telephoto lens so the pictures aren't all that clear. A former U2 driver I know said it would be highly unlikely to be a UAV as they can't operate out of restricted airspace without an escort plane but there was no escort plane visible when I saw it fly overhead. The U2 jock doesn't know what it is. So what's your thoughts? Is it a drone or is it something out of **** Rutan's hangar?

UAV.
(The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters)
It looks almost like IAI Heron or IAI Eitan.
Maybe a UFO? =))
It's a UAV.
Both?
Not sure about now, but earlier on it had a cockpit, but with the intention of that going to payload when unmanned.
Northrop Grumman I believe.

Is this the same willytee from Battleground Europe? Love your comics if so.
Looks very similar to the Alenia Aeronautica Sky-Y, just with a bigger wingspan and tailbooms portruding ahead of the leading edge of the wings. Everything else fits, so it's probably a variant or a development of the Sky-Y
With the stuff aircraft homebuilders and the RC aircraft crowd are making on their own, it could be anyone's airplane.
İt looks like Northrop Grumman&Scaled Composites Model 395 or 396
Weird thread. It is clearly a UAV. Not important what type...
