I can not wait for Stratis life, one of my favorite mods was Chenarus life. This one looks like it'll just be amazing. Also, DayZ II will be awesome.

Did the developers explained why did they make those awful "chimera" vehicles? Arma was always the "realistic type" of game and now they went full sci-fi. And its "near future" if im correct so big changes in equipment would not happen. But alas im nitpicking... and waiting for DayZ mod for Arma 3

Might have something to do with wanting to model other stuff than M4 versions and hummers for years and years.

Its hardly full sci-fi, it's near future, and everything dispplayed thus far (besides a couple of odd love childs) is current, soon to be, or on the drawing board hardware.

Well, I wouldn't call the Commanche current, soon to be, or on the drawing boards. More like a coulda been that never was.

The historical background of the game had a bit of an alternate progression in regards to ours. One of the differences is that the Comanche project was never canceled.

Those new infantry stances made me wet.

Though the flying physics still look like ****, TOH seemed much better.

Well, it has been said that TOH flight model will be included in Arma 3 (except it won't be available in the campaign), but maybe it's just not ready for the game yet, or maybe it has been just switched off in the options, who knows. Anyway they're still working on the physics as well, which should even surpass the new ones from these latest VBS2 builds, hence this quote from one of the developers from today:

Well, PhysX is not ready yet. We have decided to move from PhysX 2 from VBS2 to PhysX 3, which requires more time than we thought. The result is PhysX in E3 is in the beginning again, however the goal should be much better including bigger potential for the future updates/features.
