I think it depends greatly on the options: Gambling would be nice, but beside that I do not see many ideas. Even some sort of "bar" with "beer, booze and ****s" would only be temporarily entertaining, since you can chat with your corpmates via corp chat while doing other stuff and don't need to stay at the bar.
Some sort of "Paintball PvP" à la "Dust light" could be an alternative. I think Star Trek Online offers something like this, but then again: It would contradict the EVE Universe to have some type of PvP where you don't lose anything.
I have a -75% coupon for steam version of eve. I think it's 1 month subscription. But it works only if you don't have eve on steam, and I think you have to be a new player.
