I wonder what is this thing (box?) near main sight. Also ERA coverage is not very tight... it can change in real vehicle tough.

I was wondering about it too. Seems too large and too perpendicular to be part of an APS.

Hey Damian good to see you.

The upgrade looks decent one specially the beefing for side armour of the turret , although i was expecting the turret to be redesigned but i think that would have been a bif effort , The gun mantle still remains big like Arjun Mk1.

The box near main sight ? I could see two sights one for gunner and one for comander , the small box near the turret in front is the Laser Warning System.

I dont see any sign of APS.

So the 65 T is with the mine plough ? And without it the tank weighs how much ?

BTW the Arjun Mk2 has blow up panel , since the placement of the tank rounds is similar to Leo 1 and it is inside the turret , how would a blow up panel will be helpful if they do not completely isolate the crew from the rounds , any hit on the rounds or spontanous combustion will blow up the weak spot which is blow up panel but how would it protect the crew.

The other option is they would completely redesign the placement of ammo and would isolate it from crew and then the blow up panel would be very useful but looking at the redesign of the turret which has not been changed its less likely appears that the ammo placement has been changed.

Also modified is the tank's hydro-pneumatic suspension which is now capable of handling a 70-tonne load.
This should come as a boon for future Artillery , as they can use the chassis for heavier 155 mm Gun

Yeah, you're right. The 1st one doesn't have the extra armor, redesigned turret, etc.

2nd one is missing all of this below. 1st one is missing some of these too.

From what I've heard it's a modified BEL Battle Field Surveillance Radar.
