Reason to stay until the country is stable.
http://www.trust.org/alertnet/news/a...ction-results/A special Afghanbri court set up by President Hamid Karzai after fraud-marred parliamentary elections last year began overturning results from dozens of seats on Thursday, raising fears among Western observers of a constitutional crisis.
The court ruled that dozens of elected lawmakers would have to vacate their seats because of alleged poll fraud.
Karzai's critics have said the court was set up after the disputed 2010 election in which Karzai's rivals made major gains to further his political aims rather than serve justice.
Reason for withdrawal.
Reason to stay until the country is stable.
In fact it does. Article deals with elections which were rigged. In single-party state you don´t have to deal with these kind of problems. So if the plan is return Afghanistan to pre-1975 era we should start with banning of all parties and destruction of opposition.
Are we reading the same thing? There is nothing in this article which positively promotes stability. If anything it goes in the complete opposite of stability.
Can you imagine president Obama appointing a hand picked tribunal that went about throwing out newly elected republicans because it thought they won in a questionable election, in violation of the constitution?
This coming all from a man whose claimed to win 80% of all votes when re-elected and whose family has been implicated in robbing the Afghan national bank of millions! Whose brother is a known drug dealer!
