Why is this story even in the news, and who leaked it?

Sounds like ISI got the Doc - so by leaking perhaps they hope to keep him from harm?

Are those guys (the ISI) even aware of how idiotic they make themselves appear ?

Kudos to the dudes who thought up this scheme to verify obl's presence there, I guess the CIA isn't completely ossified.

Not really worried about the Pakistani's but that vaccination idea is pretty darn smart. That is likely how they we're so sure, they already had at least his kids DNA! Not bad, just pull a bunch of DNA samples and take a DNA profile on the whole town. Not bad work at all.

Is the plan even true? or just typical Pakistani ISI Ass covering by arresting the nearest innocent person?

The ISI, they throw a fit of peak because they were embarrassed by the americans, so they do something petty like arrest this doctor.

True or untrue... gotta admit clever idea to get the DNA.

I'm not an expert on human biology and genetics, but would sticking someone with a needle really be enough to get their DNA? Secondly, I find it a bit odd that a random nurse would be allowed into the compound harboring the world's most wanted terrorist. Those things make me question how accurate some of these claims are.

More then enough. You can get DNA off of spit, cig butts, dandruff, blood on a needle would be easy.

I understand peoples skepticism on the whole issue. Lets throw another loop into it. I doubt he went to the doctor (would you being the worlds more wanted man?). Im sure he had a "Trusted" nurse or someone who looked after him. Easy to get the DNA from there, the person probably just threw needles away or handled them poorly.

    Just a thought.

TIL: there's a complete copy of your DNA in every cell of your body.

Edit, just felt completely retarded because I forgot that red blood cells don't have a nucleus - hence no DNA. But there are plenty of other types of cells in our bloodstream. There are probably a couple of other exceptions, but for the most part every cell has the whole package.
