I mean I play games but not like COD or BF3 or this s*** about marines.

My dad is on the spanish army but he does same **** everyday, this life is totally boring. I know it won´t be much different from the United States but I would like to at least be a nice soldier who fought by a reason.

Raem, I'm pretty sure you can also be a "nice" soldier in the Spanish armed forces and serve your country well, without doing some boring stuff day in day out. You should ask your dad (who has obviously some experience in the Spanish army) about the possibilities your country's armed forces offer (army, navy, air force) for a man who is eager to be a soldier.

€dit: Here's the Spanish Armed Forces picture thread of MP.net. I suggest you take a look at it before you judge your country. http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...-Forces/page66

I used to live on a small island part of a greater kingdom too, the island life is extremely boring.
But you need to experience continental life, especially in a great country like spain, to be able to judge it.
I say you should wait till your 18, and in the meanwhile read up on your own country's history. It seems you don't know your own greatness.

And if you are going to judge ww2 by means of sacrifice you'd best join the russian armed forces, not even mentioning that spain was neutral during ww2 after just having experienced a long civil war

I think in US you would need a green card, which is not easy to get.

And you say you are young. Just take care of your shape and dont think it too much. As a youngster i myself thought i would like to make a career in army, but after my conscript service ended I decided otherwise. The idea you have about it right now probably has nothing to do with reality.

Also, ease on the video games and spend time with your friends.

I qualified for military, but did not join the training ....thanks to my dad, my sister also has qualified for naval aviation as a pilot observer but she too has decided not to join.

I am happy to be a civilian!

    I guess so.

    1. I play video games, I want to become a US soldier
    2. Spain never was occupied by Germany as gastrion mentionned.
    3. Wants to be a US soldier as a foreigner without thinking about the precious and "hard to get" green card.

In order to enlist in the US Armed Forces, you need to either be a US Citizen, resides in the US territories, or have a Green Card.

Of course then there's a different matter, I'm not sure if your plan was to join the US Military for the sake of becoming one, or are you planning on moving to the United States and becoming a US Citizen by naturalization with the military. If it option A and you want to experience what life in the military is like, then you might as well join the Spanish Army since most of the customaries are pretty much identical to one another.

If it option B and your plan was to move to the United States after receiving a Green Card and enlisting to the US Army, since you're good with programming, I would recommend an MOS that is geared toward your knowledge, such as ' 25B Information System Analyst ', or '11B Infantry' because of the things you've mentioned in your comment.

Just know that 'Sniper' isn't an MOS, in other word you can't just right out apply for it, it's a requirement which you can only obtain through your Commander's recommendation. While the Army doesn't have SEAL, they do have Special Forces and Diver, and even then the training is very rigorous that even most people wouldn't be able to pass.

The only thing you have to worry right now is applying yourself for a Green Card, without that you really have no chances of enlisting to any branches of the US Military.

One thing for sure - US army doesnt needs you. Especially not seals and co. which you wish to join. Wish to join army - join Spanish one. Not enough action? FFL is just over the border from you.

I think I know what's good for you: French Foreign Legion. They'll make the US Army look like the Spanish Army!

(d*** Nyusu beat me to it!)
