I wanted the day off too, but heaps decided they were 'tired' so I had to rock up with 2 1/2 hrs sleep only. Grrrr, and they don't do **** all day anyways.
my buddy was just at Game Stop. He is planning on playing all night. Im not a huge fan of these types of games...

yeah. Tbh, I've hardly ever touched both Morrowind's and Oblivion's main stories. I usually just went off and did my own thing after I received a few vital necessities from the opening few quests of the stories. I just end up exploring everything! I'm still in Vivec in my recent play through in Morrowind. Oblivion I could barely get working so I stopped trying after a little bit. I just can't imagine what Skyrim might be like. I was miffed at how they handled Oblivion but I love the world they created so I know I'll end up buying the game once my comp gets upgraded... until then I can only watch other people playing it![]()
Kawaiku,
I feel your pain re computer upgrades. First time I was able to upgrade was earlier this year to a Sandy Bridge (!) after a few years. I used to mainly play WoW so upgrades at least until and inclduing WotLK didn't really require an upgrade.
My brother completed the main questline on OB as a muck around (I only saw the end result) he wasn't terribly impressed as there was no real immersion to the game, as you say as wel. He said it's probably more so for the reviewers as a showcase thing for the magazines to get a quick sense of how the game runs. I've neber done it in OB and I won't in Skyrim, like you, I love the immersion and working for my own end rather than for bringing about the 'balance' in Tamriel.
It was one of the Bethesda staff.

They do that after the devs finish the game. I think one of them beat Fallout 3 in under an hour.
I just bought Skyrim and can't play the game since steam is not working. I can't even install the bloody game from my DVD, because steam constantly crashes. I hate it so much when honest players who actually bother to buy a game are punished by this steam piece of ****. Seriously, why the hell am I still so stupid to buy games and get punished for it by ****ed up customers support, failing infrastructure and the like, instead of simply downloading them illegally and get a working copy instantly?!
/nerdrage off
Fortunately I'm going out tonight, so hopefully this steam crap works by tomorrow without crashing every 2 minutes.
Edit: Finally convinced Steam to work properly. Approx 20 minutes left for the patch :> This game is better be good![]()

I normally don't like to play such games, i played oblivion for like 5hours. But this does look good, i'll guess i'll try it when it drops in price in a year or so.
This game is so fun to play. It reminds me a lot of Morrowind. Skyrim doesn't hold your hand like Oblivion did.
I want Skyrim to have my baby.
Downloading from Steam now.
Got a taste of it a friend's. Level of depth in the character development is just so sick.
