Airsoft M240

Does anyone know if there is an airsoft M240 machine gun?
M240B, M240G, L7A1? Even an M240D or C. Anything?

Saw this on Airsoft Canada:

L7A1, but looks like the thingy on the muzzle is too small for any BFA I've used. It's probably real, hence the belt and cases ejecting ot the ground.

I'd like an M249, for old times sake, but I've got ideas running around making the M240 fit the Squad Auto role, and I'm thinking getting an airsoft one to try out various ideas is cheaper than a class III for $75,000.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think that's a blank-firing attachement on it, so it's a real M240.

havent seen a custom m240 airsoft model lately. Sure, you can get a deactivaed FN MAG58 or M240 and put some aeg internals in it. But no shop seems to did it and sell it now

www.shootandscoot.co.uk do a custom airsoft GPMG not sure if it has the same bits as the american version but its supposed to be a replica of the L7A1

There's a lot of issues with that - not just technical. Deactivated real steel with Airsoft internals is a political no-no...
