Very yummy, I like the one on the top a bit better, with the S&B 1-8x24 scope. Me wants, me cannot afford, probably not in a position to get one either, but hey, one can dream.

Top one looks good. The other one just looks like it has a lot of pointless on it.

scope, backup-sight, froregrip, bipod... laser/light module... well, i think its rather useful than pointless
that all would be stuff soldiers would be crying for if they dont have it

For your information, both rifles shown in the very first picture are in fact G28's - the top one being the version that'll be carried on patrols and the other is an upgrade version for special purposes.

I was trolling from my previous comments on the other thread. Where we made fun of the large chunk of extra useless metal. Had to be tharr brah.

Just curious, does it have an integrated front flip-up iron sight? I see a back up rear sight on the rail towards the rear of the gun, but not much going on up front.

If you look closely on the the larger picture, you can see a circle looking thing. That may be the swivel for the front sight.

I would like to know/see more about/of it's gas regulator. It looks like they dumped the POS they've been using on the 417.

I see that now. I couldn't quite see it when I was on my iPhone. Very nifty.

Heckler& Koch updated their website with a new section for their latest product - which is according to them "far more than just another rifle with a scope" (effing great slogan guys!)

Also in the news, H&K isn't going to give up on their HK417 yet. They sent it in for another Bundeswehr competition over a 7.62mm calibre battle rifle program called the G27k. Either way it's interesting to see the German military drop the motto "one size fits all" - and H&K faring well with that.
