Very yummy, I like the one on the top a bit better, with the S&B 1-8x24 scope. Me wants, me cannot afford, probably not in a position to get one either, but hey, one can dream.![]()
As the old thread went down the drain along with some peoples accounts, here it is again:

Top one looks good. The other one just looks like it has a lot of pointless on it.
For your information, both rifles shown in the very first picture are in fact G28's - the top one being the version that'll be carried on patrols and the other is an upgrade version for special purposes.
Seems a bit heavy.

Just curious, does it have an integrated front flip-up iron sight? I see a back up rear sight on the rail towards the rear of the gun, but not much going on up front.
If you look closely on the the larger picture, you can see a circle looking thing. That may be the swivel for the front sight.
I would like to know/see more about/of it's gas regulator. It looks like they dumped the POS they've been using on the 417.
Hey that's my pic.
G28 Marksman rifle Heckler & Koch datasheet
http://www.heckler-koch.com/en/produ.../overview.html
Heckler& Koch updated their website with a new section for their latest product - which is according to them "far more than just another rifle with a scope" (effing great slogan guys!)
Also in the news, H&K isn't going to give up on their HK417 yet. They sent it in for another Bundeswehr competition over a 7.62mm calibre battle rifle program called the G27k. Either way it's interesting to see the German military drop the motto "one size fits all" - and H&K faring well with that.
