I'm not sure that is the case - from what I have read the first smaller bomb was intended to clear a defensive wall to allow the second vehicle to enter and attack the target building - whether through design or bad planning a lot of rush hour commuters fell victim. The group responsible are from Homs apparently and are Jihadists. Maybe they just don't care about collateral damage or thought it was a Shia area of the city and considered all as targets. It's hard to tell with the extremist mind.

I say it is the regime that is the terrorist, in fact we know they have been a state sponsor of terrorism for decades - the US list it as one of 4 current regimes that use the tactic along with Cuba Iran and Sudan. They have been on that list for more than 30 years. For sensible people would disagree with it - there is ample eveidence of Syria's involvement in terrorist funding, support and actions all over the world. Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Hezbollah, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.. and others have office, train operatives and recieve funding from Assad.

I have no doubt that there are Jihadist groups fighting Assad in Syria who do use what plainly are terrorist tactics. But every citizen that takes arms against a despotic, brutal, cruel and utterly corrupt regime is not a terrorist by default as you seem to be claiming.

So those "Green Logo Guys" are the Al-Nusra Front to Protect the Levant. They post their videos on the same Al-Qaeda website as the Iraqi insurgents. They're from Homs and pretty shadowy. Not a lot known about them besides they have resources and know how to fight.

Yea...more stories about Grad. So what was the lesson for Assad again? That NATO is waiting in the weeds to launch an attack on Syria? don't hold your breath mate. If there's any lesson from Libya for Assad, it would be to prevent the Islamists from gaining any foothold within Syria, as was the case in Libya with Benghazi.
