I'm talking about the video, not the pic.

Why is the soldier carrying a bird cage on patrol?

No, but there was insurgency in the countryside and rest of the country. I personally do not think that they were IRGC, but I think they were stupid to go there in time like this. Especially given that shia Lebanese pilgrims were abducted in Syria few months ago and 11 were still not released.

Organised by a group calling itself "Hands off Syria", the noisy but peaceful demonstration involving hundreds marched to government offices in central Sydney.

What purpose has the duct tape on the PG-7 round?

Increased lethality against soft targets by adding ball bearings or just an urban legend from Iraq where the insurgents believed that the "electrical armour" of the US tanks could only be penetrated if the warhead was insulated with duct tape?

    Any ideas?

    Thx, Hardy

It won`t take long to see Rebels extensively using armor against the Syrian army.

The only problem would be maintenance and fuel but with economic aid by KSA
that won`t be a big problem.

Syrian civil defence youths remove corpses from a rubbish dump as Syrian troops and journalists, taken on an official tour by the information ministry, watch on August 4, 2012 in the Damascus suburb of Yalda. A Syrian army brigadier general, who refused to give his name, told journalists: 'These are civilians who were kidnapped and killed by the armed groups,' in reference to the killings in Yalda, which the state news agency SANA described as 'horrible massacres.'
