It looks like the trucks out of whack. Otherwise would the Syrian army would use them for evacuation. More like the fact that the rebels have taken storage base for decommissioned equipment.

The first truck in the left lane is the ancient ZIL-157 or even ZIS-151.
The rest of those that can be identified - is ZIL-131. ZIL-131 came as a replacement for ZIL-157 for the military, and was manufactured in 1966. Production of ZIL-131 was discontinued in 1994. ZIL-157 continued to produce for the needs of agriculture and forestry.
Production of ZIL-131 was discontinued in 1994. After the opening of ZIL-131 and Ural-375, ZIL-157 continued to produce for the needs of agriculture and forestry.
(That' all what i found in the Internet about these vehicles.)

The terrorists' weapons include a MAS-36 rifle (@ 1 minute). Wonder how much ammo they had for it.

Probably a left over from the French Colonial Forces from the Mandate era. As for the ammo, that's anyone's guess. Judging from the fact that the SAA doesn't seem get rid of any of it's surplus arms (don't know if you saw the video in which the FSA captured about 5,000 Yugoslav Stg 44's amd a bunch of 7.92x33 Kurz) it's very likely that they had ammo for it.

The 7,5mm ammo that fits in the MAS-36 has been produced in large number in Syria for the MAS-49 (7000 have been delivered under a 1953 contract).
The MAS-36 is very common in Lebanon.

And it appears like it hit exactly on the frontal arc of the turret. That's probably why the clip ends right after the hit.

I saw an entire case of 308 winchester in the video, which suggests it's been rechambered as indicated here:

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...en&lr=&ct=clnk

Until around 2002, or so, the only ammo available was very limited supplies of military surplus from France and Syria. Because of the dearth of ammunition, a large number of them were converted to .308 Winchester
Interestingly enough it says that Syria is one of the few places where the 7.5 French ammo is "more available".

The 308 ammo was probably more for that FN-FAL alongside the MAS-36.
