Yes I just explained its usage in the Levant a few posts back. We all know it wasn't just the Nazis using it. In some cases it was to imitate the Nazis from an ideological point of view, sometimes just out of respect for German organizational skills and sometimes totally unrelated to Nazism. However if you look into the influences of nationalist ideologies like the Ba'ath and the SSNP it speaks for itself.
