What determines that it's a Christian neighborhood?

Most of sunni districts are already out of governemnt control and in rest of them army wouldnt recieve such welcome. There are two Alawite districts and one christian so it´s as good assumption as any. Beside that from video district bulding looks rather new so it´s probably safe to say that it´s Alawite as those Alawite districts are only one-two decaded old.

Once the new regime is implemented, you can be sure that Alawites and Christians will be treated like second rate citizens.

The Muslim Brotherhood rolls like that.
