Destroying an airforce on the ground is "against your rules" but shelling women and children with long range artillery is just dandy? Did your mum have any children that lived?

JakeRS, that's a repost and you're a troll. Contribute or piss off.

@mptrooper: That BBC documentary was hard to watch.

Definitely something the world needs to watch. You just can't fake that kind of pain and anguish. To call these ordinary people criminals and terrorists is an insult to decent human beings everywhere. Those fighting and dying in places like Homs, Idlib and Hama are the son's of Syria and nothing more.

    Yeah whatever.
The majority of Syrians voted for Assad's proposal for a new constitution and the reforms to go along with it, thus giving him and his plans legitimacy. By various opinion polls, over 50% of Syrians also support Assad; either wholeheartedly or because he is the least worst choice for Syria.

So keeping it in mind; I think he has the mandate from the people to crush the rebellion or repel it, at least until the international community organises (or doesn't) a ceasefire; and then he can follow through with the new constitution as promised, the reforms, elections and all the rest of it. I think he or one of his associates would be elected in a free election in any case.

This band of armed loosers can go get bent. If there is to be political opposition than it should be purely peaceful and not insidious.

Yes, because I'm sure those were free and fair elections. But you're right, who cares about the massacring of 3 generations of a family.

Did you not read his emails where he joked about how the new constitution was junk? Or was that a Western conspiracy?
