    Default T-129 ATAK P6 - Begins Cannon Fire Tests

    This is Prototype 6 conducting first of T-129 platform of live fire tests with AselFlir 300T E/O and Turkish Avionics.
    Test conducted in the video is reaction time of cannon when slewed to an already designated area with E/O and fire a few rounds.

    Me gusta, I wonder why Israel isn't looking into the original European variant as a possible replacement for the aging Apaches.

    See at 12:50, the T-129 is being pushed by the Cannon.. Hope they address that.

    They cant change that, they have to tune the fire control software to compensate it as good as possible but you cant change the laws of physics.

    The only option to remove this effect is to choose a recoilless gun like Rheinmetall RMK.

    at 13:20 looks like the pilot is trying to compensate by moving the nose into the recoil, suppose smart avionic fix linked with FCS could reduce the recoil effects on the aircraft..

    Looks very lateral but they could cancel the turn with automatic adjustments to the tail rotor.

    How much different is this T-129 compared to Agusta A129 Mangusta ?
