I think the Russian is best fit for this kind of job we should just ask them to do mission and pay them to save the cost

What ? No apologists ? awww, c'mon, someone please defend the poor pirates so I can laugh at them justifying piracy !!!

Arent they tracking where the money they get in ransom goes?? its easy to track millions of dollars flowing through somalia..

last time india took offensive and started detaining pirates, they started detaining indian worker even after paying ransom..they even hijacked a ship from the harbor of a gulf country..
hope this is a permanent solution..

Too bad they didn't have promission for preemptive strikes , 3-4 Harpoon missiles and a couple of dozens 127mm shold have sorted that out.
When there is a big clan meeting with big tents, that generally means they have their families with them. Laying waste to an encampment full of women and children is considered bad form these days.

    Why isn't it a combined/coordinated mission?
Russia claims the pirates are coordinated by mafias in the EU (says RT).

Somehow i get the idea that RT been from Russia is likely to get right what the Russian claims are. The question posed was why there is no combined mission. Russians (says RT) claim the piracy problem comes from europe, therefore its hard to sell a combined mission that way. That does not mean they are correct, just what their mindset regarding the issue is. Now i will help you with a diagnostic, you got wedge word syndrome, you saw RT and typed a programed reply without much analysis.

    No...RT is full of ****e.
Having watched it for several years and the "experts" (Webster Tarpley, Alex Jones, David "I'm Jesus" Shayler )it parades and the "facts" (CIA/MI6 death squads are responsible for whats happening in Syria etc) it pumps out, I'm fairly confident I'm right.

    Analysis done.

I hope that when the Eu goes ahead with this, that they make sure to stay persistent in eleminating piracy on the Somali coast. It would also be in the EU's interests to coordinate with the African Union troops stationed in Southern Somalia to help root out Al-Shabaab linked personnell working with the pirates.

So if I get it right, pirates arent controlled by local Somalian warlords but by Italians in suits. That sounds solid.

There is international cooperation against illegal fishing (like in Antarctic waters), but no, I don't think the NATO/EU navies are policing the fisheries in African waters (unless there are bilateral agreements, always a possibility).
