I imagine Sauber will now struggle to hold onto Perez, he might be a shoe in for the Massa drive at Ferrari.

I'd be amazed if anyone would be stupid enough to drive for Ferrari, they only have to look at Massa and see how Ferrari have broken him down into nothing more than a roadblock for Alonso, hopefully he'll get into another decent team.

If your a F1 driver you are driving to win, stay at Sauber and get the once in a blue moon chance to podium or move to Ferrari and have the opportunity to win or secure a podium position more often than not.
Pretty clear cut choice I imagine.

Is it Champers or Rose petal juice being sprayed?

Looked like champagne I believe Rose water doesn't spray well.

So... after erasing a five second gap to Alonso TWICE.... Perez is told that the points are more important than the win... & he moments later makes an error, probably put off by the order from the team...

the team that buy engines from..... Ferrari. What's the betting that Alonso whined like a baby and had Ferrari tell them to back off or lose the engines

Normally I'd get on the beat 'nando wagon, but the guy knows the score. He knows he's driving what is in F1 terms a box of bits and was lucky to win.

Massive **** off alarms going off at Maranello when they realised a customer car was closing consistently and rapidly down on Alonso, running on the slower Prime tyres. Big worries. Credit to Alonso.

McLaren need to be capitalising, that RB has real core pace from looking at Webber's performance. Come Barcelona, Mercedes are at risk of flying backwards when everyone fields their own rear wing stalling device. Probably more stressed than Ferrari. Not signing the new Concorde would allow Merc to withdraw and escape the ignominy faced by the likes of Toyota and Honda when they chucked in the towel.

Pretty exciting race. Result wasn't quite what I wanted but hey ho.

Alone drove smoothy. Again he flattered that dog of a car. Congrats to him.
Perez had a fantastic day, wouldn't have minded seeing him win it. Really want to see him in a good car
Hamilton, what the hell were Maclaren doing in his pit stops...

JB crashed into a HRT which spoilt his race a bit. Probably wouldn't have happened if Karthikayen decided to take a corner with slightly more speed and confidence than a learner drive in their second lesson. On the upside we got to see some nice overtaking work from him in changable conditions (like Massa in turns 1/2). Another Canada would have been fun though. Wanted him to at least claw some points back.

And wtf was with the indecision over Vettel. Box...no stay out...stop the car emergency!

Shame that Vettel suffered from that punctured tire, 4th position would have been quite satisfactory considering the circumstances.
Same goes for Button and Schumacher, just bad luck these days...

Luckily with 20 races in the season, its less likely a single DNF like this will significantly effect the end results.

I believe it was Martin Brundle who said if he retires he can change parts of his car, but in order to retire they need a good reason.
