Default Tuesday's testing to mark true start of 2012 season

Tuesday sees the commencement of 2012’s pre-season testing, with a four-day session at Jerez, where nine of the 12 Formula One teams will have their new cars running in anger for the first time. It will be followed by a further three similar tests in Spain ahead the Australian Grand Prix on March 18.

I don't care what happens as long as Raikkonen kicks ass, takes names, eats ice cream and monotones his contempt on live television.

Ferrari 'not happy' with early car progress
Ferrari has admitted its new car is not delivering what it had ben hoped for so far - but the Maranello team has faith that it can get on top of its issues before the first race of the season.

Nico Rosberg says new tyres will make F1 racing different this year
"It is going to have a big impact on the racing because the compounds are closer now," said Rosberg when asked by AUTOSPORT about the new tyres. "It is difficult for me to foresee how that will go, but it will be different.

^ not really a good thing

Romain Grosjean buoyed by Lotus form after maiden test with E20 F1 car
"I think this one is much more predictable to drive and the handling is really good in the fast corners," he added. "You can really trust the car and push it to the limit and if you make a small mistake it's not a big issue and you are not going to spin hopefully.

"So that's the first good point. You can trust the car, which is very important to go fast. It's really what you want to have when you are in Formula 1. If you are not confident you are not getting those last tenths."

    Hamilton
"I think you can see the Red Bull looks quick. The Lotus looks quite impressive," he said.

"You never know what fuel loads people are on. I think we've been quite aggressive with our fuel loads."

Bernie would take F1 to Damascus tomorrow if someone wrote the right check. Because he's a little cvnt. In every, single, sense of the word.

Jerez day three - Rosberg top, Grosjean leads 2012 runners

Mercedes remained on top of the Jerez timesheets on Thursday, courtesy of driver Nico Rosberg, but it was Lotus’s Romain Grosjean who was the fastest of those running in 2012 machinery. Grosjean set a best time of 1m 18.419s in the E20, as this week’s multi-team test continued in Spain.
Could it be that Boullier's team has in fact mended their broken hopes of attaining their title(s) goal?
