Iran: Our satellite photographed Israel's Dimona reactor, IDF bases

Iran and the West are now competing over who is getting more stressed - Europe over the possible disruption of oil flow, or Tehran, which has been busy uncovering new technologies.

the Iranian website Mashreq claimed that the recently launched Navid-class satellite was able to take detailed photographs of the nuclear reactor in Dimona as well as "sensitive sites, air forces bases, and various areas of Tel Aviv."

Google Earth has a better resolution, even for the degraded pictures it is authorized to take of the Israeli soil.

So in other word its not a civilian weather satellite but a military Intel Sat so if war ever comes that would make the sat a legal target to knock out.

Outdated, yes but at least one can see something.
What's the worth of an updated picture of Dimona with a of 500-1,000 meters resolution?

well I believe even a 1 cm resolution picture of Dimona
won't worth much after all you are not going to see
    anything interesting on the ground.
but it certainly increase the hit on the website and
    increase the revenue from advertisement.

They should need this revenue in order to amortize a bit the cost of the launch.

A resolution doesn't matter they don't need it. A shot of any resolution will be enough to get at their aims.

    - Satellite 101: Access to satellite gives you live photos or photos from an hour ago. Google earth provides photos of who knows when!

    - Google earth does not cover military sites

    - Access to satellite provides you coordinates of sites.

You either are not wise enough to realize that, or you prefer to be ignorant. You cannot even remember from discussions of a few days ago that Navid has a resolution of 400 meters! Military satellites were not always as accurate as today. Besides 400m is quite enough for targeting and navigation. Next satellite, Fajr has a radar which will provide TERCOM information which along with coordinates (used in an inertial and satellite navigation system) will be enough for missile navigation.
