Yes, they have. That's basically the No. 10 Commando insignia of WW2 fame, the Poles were part of that Inter-Allied unit.
Yup, same guys that stormed Cassino in May 1944. The Regiment draws its traditions from many WW2 units.

A few civis got a chance to spend a day in the Regiments barracks in Lubliniec.There they were presented with some parts of the units training, gear and weaponry.
Participants also got a chance to learn a bit about the Regiments history, traditions and its role in the international Special Operations community.
